The use of cannabis to treat certain chronic medical and psychological conditions has become widely popular in current years. Medical Cannabis uses chemicals in the marijuana plant to treat conditions and diseases. This plant contains 100 plus different chemicals or cannabinoids, and each chemical has a different effect on your body. Cannabis has been found to help alleviate symptoms from a wide array of medical conditions.
Qualifying conditions for medical cannabis use are:
- Anorexia
- Cachexia
- Chronic pain
- Glaucoma
- Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Severe pain
- Severe nausea
- Seizures
- Severe or persistent muscle spasms
- Wasting syndrome
- Insomnia
The first step in gaining your medical cannabis card is registering at (Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission) mmcc.maryland.gov. Once registration is completed, you can schedule an appointment with one of our certified providers. The provider will review your medical records and current medical conditions. Contingent on the provider finding you meet the qualifications and the patient agreeing that the use of medical cannabis will improve their condition, you will be issued certification for the medical use of marijuana.
We recommend that you register through mmcc.maryland.gov before scheduling your appointment. At the time of approval, you will receive a 25-digit ID registration number that must be provided to the clinician. Please allow a 2-3 week turnaround time from registration with MMCC and your scheduled appointment for certifying with our providers.
Receiving your certification can be done without even leaving your home. All appointments are offered virtually.
We require a 50% deposit at the time the appointment is made. The remaining balance will be required after your appointment.

- You will need a valid Photo-ID driver’s license, passport, or state ID.
*If you need assistance registering through mmcc.maryland.gov, we are able to do that for you at the same time as your visit for an additional $50. The only difference will be you cannot leave that appointment with written certification for the use of medical cannabis. Once you receive your 25-digit certification code, we will be able to provide you with your written consent for the use of medical cannabis.
